Before it was over, Brooks Koepka had enough of his LIV Golf partner Matt Wolff.

The debate over Matthew Wolff’s spot on LIV’s Smash GC has been one of the main points of conversation. Brooks Koepka, who is the leader of Smash and one of the biggest stars in LIV Golf, seems to have had enough.

Not many people know what’s going on behind the scenes, but the winner of the 2023 PGA Championship talked about it with the media before the season finale of LIV Golf in Miami.

“I tried.” It took me most of the first few months of the year to try to help and figure that out, Koepka said. “I feel like it’s over.” I tried. And sometimes you can’t help people who don’t want help. I’ve been very honest about it.

Koepka has criticised Wolff before, calling him a “wasted talent.”

“Every week it’s the same thing.” The coach said, “He only controls what he can do.” “You only need to win two out of three if I win my match and Jason Kokrak wins his.” We’ll see how that goes since Chase is Wolf’s partner. Anything can happen in golf.”

Smash GC, owned by Koepka, will play HyFlers, owned by Phil Mickelson, this weekend in the quarterfinals.

Each player will play the other two times to see who can win all three games. Koepka and Mickelson will be leaders of their teams on the same course. Kokrak will play Cameron Tringale, and to end the tournament, Chase Koepka and Wolff will play James Piot and Brendan Steele.

Last week at LIV Jeddah, Koepka was incredibly rude about Wolff’s appearance.

“Only three of us are on our team… “I’m close with my brother, and I’ve been close with Jay for maybe three years,” he said. “I’ve liked being with him. He’s a great athlete and player. He’s been great this year, and it’s been fun to be around him. “Yes, I’m not going to say anything bad about him.”

He didn’t say anything about Wolff. The team has been tense for a long time, and Koepka seems fed up with Wolff.
