The FA turned down a version of the home kit with even more colors. For the first time ever, England’s away shirt is selling more than the home shirt at one big store.

After Nike’s “woke” problem, the St. George’s Cross on the Three Lions’ shirt was changed from its usual red bars to a different color.

Fans, legends of the Three Lions, and politicians, such as Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Labour leader Keir Starmer, spoke out against the move.

The changed flag is also worn on the away shirt, but it is hidden on the inside of the back collar instead of sitting on the outside.

Now, the big store JD Sports has said that the England away kit is selling more than the home kit for the first time ever.

The CEO of JD Sports, Regis Schultz, told The Sun, “It’s only been two or three days of trading and so far it’s been fine. But one thing we are seeing is that the away shirt is selling better than the other one, which isn’t how it usually works.”

Shulz also said that the shirt was still available at the company.

There are still not many shirts, but we had a bigger order, so that could be the reason.

The strange sales pattern comes after the fight with England fans last week, in which Nike said they never meant to upset them.

It was also said in The Telegraph that the FA turned down a kit with even more colors.

Nike said in a statement, “We have been a proud partner of the FA since 2012 and understand the significance and importance of the St. George’s Cross. It was never our intention to offend, given what it means to England fans.”

The goal was to honor the stars of 1966 and what they did with the help of the FA. “The same colors are used on the back of the collar in a way that looks like the flag.” The trim on the cuffs is a pattern of blues, reds, and purple that looks like the training gear that England’s 1966 heroes wore.

Peter Shilton, who has played for England more times than any other player, has been one of the harshest critics of the kit.

“This is wrong in every way,” the 74-year-old said. No way, I’m against it. Aside from the cost that Nike plans to charge. It’s awake. Nike has put the St. George’s Cross on their kit, and if they’re going to do that, they should have used the usual colors. The Three Lions and this are both classic.

The FA said: “The new England 2024 home kit has a number of design elements which were meant as a tribute to the 1966 World Cup-winning team.”The trimming on the cuffs is colored to look like the training clothes that England’s 1966 stars wore.

The design on the back of the collar is also colored the same way.Different colored patterns that look like the St. George’s Cross have been used on England shirts before.

The English flag, which is red and white with a St. George’s cross in the middle, makes us very pleased.

Politicians also didn’t like the change. For example, Labour head Keir Starmer told The Sun on the new politics show Never Mind the Ballots that the change was “horrible.”

Starmer was very angry that Nike changed the flag on the back of the shirt in the show, which you can watch now on thesun.co.uk and The Sun’s YouTube page.

Sir Keir said that the original hues brought people together and that the St. George’s was “something to be proud of.”

Then, Sunak said: “Obviously I prefer the original, and my general view is that when it comes to our national flags, we shouldn’t mess with them.”And they’re great the way they are. They give us pride and help us figure out who we are.

Other stores haven’t announced their sales yet.
