Taylor Montgomery is having a rough patch, and he learned he needs to do some things to get where he wants to go. Get a teacher was the first thing that had to be done. Taylor chose to hire Butch Harmon, who used to teach Tiger Woods. You could tell Montgomery was excited by what he said.
Having the chance to work with such a well-known golfer makes him happy, and he can’t wait to get better. Tiger Woods has become a much better golfer since this experienced teacher took over as his coach. “Just started working with Butch Harmon the last couple weeks, so hopefully him and I can get it going.”This is what Taylor said, as reported by golfmagic.com!
Taylor Montgomery wants to get better
Taylor seems to be unhappy with himself and how he’s doing. A lot of the same things happened every month. If you feel like you’re not making progress, you might get angry.
Taylor was aware that he needed to do something for his job. Harmon is a pro player who will be very helpful to this young golfer. Montgomery should get better in lots of ways. “I was having a hard time, and I kept doing the same thing to try to fix the same problem.”
I thought, “Why not change something and see what happens?”
The most important thing is to hit the ball straight. I’ve always done short game stuff like chipping and putting by myself, with my dad watching me every once in a while.
Most of the time, I’ll be right there if I’m killing it.
Most of the time, not all the time. I want to get better at that part of my game.
The next few months will prove and show us a lot. The people in Montgomery will now work together and try to make things happen.
