Caitlin Clark gave the best answer to the Angel Reese rivalry question before the game between Iowa and LSU.

We all know what happened when LSU beat Iowa to win the women’s basketball national championship last year: Angel Reese threw Caitlin Clark the John Cena joke she had been making earlier in March Madness.

So, the rematch will happen on Monday in the Elite Eight of the 2024 NCAA women’s tournament. Of course, everyone will be thinking about that feud and how it will go this time.

But Clark knew the right thing to say about that rivalry on Sunday. In her speech, she said that “women’s basketball is in a really great place” and that it’s not just her and Reese:
