After Manchester United let him go, the superstar forward joined the top team in the Saudi Pro League at the start of the January transfer window. Ronaldo hasn’t played for his new team yet because a Football Association ban has been kept in place.

But that hasn’t stopped him from seeing the country where he will live for at least the next two years. The 37-year-old has already moved to Riyadh, which is the capital of Saudi Arabia, and trained with his new teammates.

Away from his regular job, he and his family went to the capital’s Winter Wonderland theme park. Ronaldo and his girlfriend, Georgina Rodriguez, posted photos of the visit to their Instagram accounts.

The famous person posted a picture of himself, Rodriguez, and four of Rodriguez’s children in front of one of the attractions. He also posted a picture of himself and Rodriguez at what looked like a water show. “Quality time with my loves” was the title of the post.

It’s the first post Ronaldo has made on social media that shows his family out and about since he moved to Saudi Arabia. His other posts have been about training. Winter Wonderland is part of an annual festival and is located in the King Abdullah Financial District.

Ronaldo said he was excited to join Al-Nassr when he got there, even though the Saudi Pro League isn’t as well-known as the Premier League, La Liga, or Serie A, which he has played in before.

“In Europe, my work is done. Everything went to me. I played for some of Europe’s best teams. Now, it’s a new challenge for me. Ronaldo said, “This is a great chance for me, not just in football but also to change the way the next generation thinks.”

“I had a lot of chances in Europe, and I played for many clubs in Brazil, Australia, the United States, and even Portugal. They tried to sign me, but I promised this club that I would work to improve not just football, but also other parts of this great country.

I know what I want, and this is a good chance to help me get there. I don’t really care what people say, because I’m so happy to be here. I know the league is tough because I’ve been to a lot of games. I’m ready to play football again.

Ronaldo will finally play for Al-Nassr when they host Ettifaq on Saturday. Rudi Garcia’s team is in first place in the Saudi Pro League, one point ahead of Al-Hilal in second place, even though Rudi Garcia’s team has played one less game.
