The father of NBA players Steph and Seth Curry, Dell Curry, describes his life as “great”.
Dell, a former NBA shooting guard who played 10 seasons with the Hornets during his 16-year career, discussed getting remarried after his public divorce from Sonya Curry, which included accusations of adultery on both sides, in a wide-ranging interview with The Charlotte Observer.
“Yes. It’s wonderful. After the divorce, I was unsure about my next move. I considered visiting the West Coast. ‘Nah, I’m not going to follow my boys,’ I say. I’m going to persevere. “Hang on,” Dell said on the “Sports Legends of the Carolinas” podcast by the newspaper.
“And after that, my current wife was introduced to me by friends. She was someone I had already met. Before I saw her, we spoke on the phone for a month. Oh, I like this gal, guy, I’m thinking. What’s happening here?”
