There will be a very exciting Final Four battle on Friday night between Caitlin Clark and the No. 1 seed Iowa Hawkeyes and Paige Bueckers and the No. 3 seed UConn Huskies.
Fans will have to wait, though, because the game starts late at night.
The game between Iowa and UConn will start at 9:30 p.m. ET, 30 minutes after the first Final Four game between South Carolina and NC State is over.
A lot of fans don’t like how late the game starts.
“NCAA takes 1 step forward and 6 steps back….Ridiculous,” a writer said.
“Why is the UConn vs. Iowa game on February 2nd and doesn’t start until at least 9:30 on Friday night?” It’s been fun to watch games with my daughter, but I won’t stay up that late to watch this one. “Major L,” said someone else.
“I need to get ready for no sleep again,” said someone else.
Fans on the East Coast will have to wait until late, but this match between Clark and Bueckers should bring in even more huge crowds for this year’s event.
