F1 News Long Wait For Sport Makes Nyck de Vries More Motivated.

The AlphaTauri AT04 was one of the strangest cars to be shown off so far this F1 season. But while fans were talking about the short, boring release video on Twitter, a Q&A was posted on the website.

Nyck de Vries, a new driver for AlphaTauri, talked about his long road to F1 in this Q&A. He focused on how much he appreciates the team:

First of all, to get the chance to live my dream, but also to be very excited and motivated to perform and deliver.

De Vries has been criticised because he is a bit older than most F1 drivers when they join the grid at age 28. However, he is a very experienced and successful race car driver who has won a Formula 2 championship and a Formula E championship with Mercedes.

Now that he has a spot in AlphaTauri, he can show what he can do against teammate Yuki Tsunoda, who some people think might not be able to beat the Dutch driver.

I think that because my path has been a little different and longer than most, I’m even more grateful for this chance, more eager to take it, and more eager to show what I’m made of.”

The driver seems to be looking forward to the upcoming season, and he is glad that the Dutch people will be cheering for him.

I don’t know how much support will go to Max Verstappen and how much will go to me. Fans will always support Max, and now they have a second Dutch driver to cheer for.”

We can’t wait for Nyck to join F1 and show his dominance on a team that needs some power.
