Finally, Gunn Liverpool and Man City might play each other again this season to see who wins the Premier League, but Arsenal WILL NOT be there.

Here’s what could happen to make the end of this season the most exciting one ever.

Liverpool and Manchester City might have to play for the title, but Arsenal will NOT have to play an extra game.

If the tense race for the Premier League title ends with two teams tied at the top, that one-time excitement is the most amazing thing that could happen.

Liverpool’s comeback win over Brighton by a score of 2-1 and City’s draw with Arsenal at 0-0 both showed how close the race is.

The Reds are two points ahead of the Gunners, while Pep Guardiola’s team is still one point behind.

It doesn’t look possible that two of the three teams competing for the title will be tied at the end of the Premier League season on May 19.

And if we do reach such a shocking result, a list of head-to-head rules will be used to choose the winner.

And it would only be good news for Arsenal if they were one of those two teams.

This is because the Gunners have won all three of their games against Liverpool and City.

Arsenal’s two foes, on the other hand, are tied with each other after drawing both of their Premier League matches.

In October, Gabriel Martinelli scored late to give Arsenal a 1-0 win over City. On Sunday, Mikel Arteta’s team held on for a draw.

This season, Arsenal drew 1-1 with Liverpool at Anfield and then beat them 3-1 at the Emirates in February.

If Liverpool and City are tied for first place in May, it could be the most amazing one-off game in Premier League history.

It’s clear that stranger things have happened, but NEVER in the history of the top flight.

This is how it could happen…

🔺 If Liverpool and City are tied on points, the next thing that will decide the winner is goal difference.
🔺 If GD was equal, the winner would be the person who got the most points.
🔺If the two teams are still tied, the team that has won more Premier League games against each other this season will finish higher.
🔺If everything else stays the same, the club that scored more away goals in those two games would win.
🔺If it stays tied after all that, we have that exciting play-off on neutral ground.
🔺Prem chiefs would have to decide on the specifics, like when and where to hold the event.
