college volleyball: It looks like this one will be fun.
Following what was expected, Nebraska got the top seed after going 28-1 during the season. It only lost once, on its last road trip to rival Wisconsin, which would go on to win the third overall spot. The defending champion, Texas, got a two-seed, which means it will host the first two games and then go to Stanford for the regionals if it wins those first matches.
Because Pitt beat Louisville in the regular season, it just barely beat Louisville for the last top spot. Florida got the No. 4 spot, just beating out Penn State because it beat Penn State in a head-to-head match up. The Gators are one of three SEC teams getting ready to host the Lincoln regional.
The SEC has the most teams in the dance, with eight. The Big 12 comes in second, with seven. Five teams from the ACC, Big Ten, and Pac-12 all made it to the playoffs.
