Officially, Taylor Swift has surpassed all other artists in terms of the number of Grammy Awards she has received for Album of the Year.
A trophy for Album of the Year was awarded to Taylor Swift on Sunday night for her album Midnights, which was her tenth studio album and was published in 2022. As a result of this victory, she has surpassed Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon, and Frank Sinatra, all of whom have won three Album of the Year awards.
Swift praised her “once-in-a-generation producer” Jack Antonoff and her engineer Laura Sisk, as well as her friend and partner Lana Del Rey, who were both standing with her when she took the stage after Celine Dion had announced her name. Swift was in a state of shock when she made her announcement.

Jon Batiste, Boygenius, Miley Cyrus, Lana Del Rey, Janelle Monáe, Olivia Rodrigo, and SZA were among the other artists whose albums were nominated for awards. Midnights was the winner.
It was a very dramatic evening for Swift, and the culmination of it all was her victory for Album of the Year. Earlier in the evening, while she was presenting the prize for Best Pop Vocal Album, she made a shocking announcement that she will be releasing a brand new album on April 19 titled The Tortured Poets Department.
