Inter Miami may profit from this since they plan to sign Luis Suárez by 2024; Suárez would gain from the new franchise player law.

The year 2023 was a big one for Major League Soccer. Since adding players like Sergio Busquets, Jordi Alba, and Lionel Messi, the league has started to let in more of the best players from around the world.

According to rumours from journalist Caleb Pongratz, MLS is planning to allow each team in the league to have four Designated Players. This means that 2024 will be the start of it all.

It is important to remember that each team is allowed three Designated Players right now. However, if Messi had joined, the top people in Major League Soccer would have had a totally different plan and each team would have been able to add another top player to their roster.

Suárez is going to Inter Miami.

A player like Luis Suárez would gain from the new law that lets each team have four players, which could help Inter Miami when they try to sign him in 2024.
