The best football players in the world work hard on the pitch, but they also have lives outside of football. Now, a new show called The Offseason will show what happens during those two weeks off.
Players from the National Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) live together in two different houses for two weeks while exercising in Miami in this new show. The magazine Variety called it the “NWSL version of Big Brother,” which makes me wonder who will be on the show and what was caught on camera.
Also, some big names are behind the show: A lead investor in Angel City FC, Alexis Ohanian, is married to Serena Williams, the greatest tennis player of all time. U.S. women’s national team forward Midge Purce came up with the idea. Plus, Alex Baskin, who created The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Vanderpump Rules, is in charge of making it. You know it’s going to be good.
Who will be on The Offseason, though, and when can you watch it? Read this to learn more.

Purce told Women’s Health in the past, “There was a time when I had to balance training in the offseason and making The Offseason show.” “Preparing something that will help me improve my game in the future, make my life easier, and help other players was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I also had to be disciplined to do the things I needed to do and not get too tired or overworked.”
When is it going to air?
There isn’t a show date yet; Variety only says that it’s “in production.” So, we don’t yet know what will happen with the possible TV station or streaming service.
What is going to happen on the show?
There are already a few behind-the-scenes videos on The Offseason’s X feed. One video shows a player coming up to the front of a house from behind and leaving her shoes out in front with the others.
