Kylian Mbappe is, in Fabio Capello’s eyes, “the best player in the world.”
The former boss of AC Milan still thinks Lionel Messi is “incredible,” but he thinks the 35-year-old forward is starting to show his age and that his teammate at Paris Saint-Germain is now better.
He told the daily Daily Telegraph, “Messi is great. I always pick him instead of [Cristiano] Ronaldo.”Age is age, though. Kylian Mbappe is the best player in the world right now.Mbappe is strong, fast, and gets a lot of goals, which makes him unique. But he doesn’t dream as much as Messi.”
Fabio no longer coaches, but he thinks Carlo Ancelotti, who is in charge of his old team Real Madrid, is the best manager there is.
When asked who the best boss is, he said, “Carlo.” Carlo knows all about his opponents. He gets ready very well.”
But he knows that Carlo’s time at Madrid could be coming to an end soon.
“Carlo would like to stay in Madrid,” he said. All of it depends on what happens in the Champions League semi-final game against Manchester City. I know that Real Madrid has to win because I’ve been there. And if you don’t win, you get fired. Always.”
Carlo has been talked about as a possible manager for the Brazil national team, but the man who used to lead England warned that it is a very different job than managing a club.
He replied, “Yes, Brazil is a whole new job.” At Madrid, he works every day and talks to the players every day. A head coach of a national team? I know the difference between the two.”
