After Neymar got into a heated fight in the dressing room on Saturday, Kylian Mbappe told his Paris Saint-Germain teammates to “stay strong and united.”

PSG’s poor play at home continued on Saturday when they lost 3-1 to Monaco in Ligue 1. Neymar is said to have been very upset with teammates Vitinha and Hugo Ekitike after the game. It is also said that Luis Campos, who has a big role at the club, got into a fight with Neymar and the team captain, Marquinhos.

It’s the latest sign of a divided locker room, coming after defender Presnel Kimpembe said he “didn’t know” Mbappe had replaced him as the club’s vice-captain at the beginning of the season.

When the decision was made to make Mbappe vice-captain, Lionel Messi was not even considered. Messi captained Barcelona for three seasons, but he does not have the same status in Paris. Mbappe did one of his goal celebrations in front of Messi during the World Cup final, which seemed to show that tensions were high between the two players.

The latest news about Neymar’s problems with two of his teammates comes as reports say that he is still fighting with an attacking teammate, Mbappe. Earlier this season, during a Ligue 1 match, the two stars had a fight over the order of penalty kick takers.

It was said that former Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos had to step in to stop the fight, and boss Christophe Galtier called a first-team meeting to scold the two. But it seems to be getting more and more like an uneasy relationship with short-term steps to limit the damage.
