There is big news from LeBron James as he gets ready for his 21st season in the NBA.
Last season, James scored more points than any other player in league history. He doesn’t seem to be planning to slow down any time soon. He does, however, have a lot of time for other things. His most recent project is writing another book for kids.
Through a relationship with HarperCollins Publishers, the book “I Am More Than” was written to help kids understand that other people shouldn’t define them and that they are more than just a skill or interest.
The four-time NBA champion said, “‘I Am More Than’ is about believing in yourself and all the great things you can do; no one else can define you.” “I hope everyone who reads it is moved to do more in everything they do.”
LBJ’s third book is coming out soon. “I Promise,” his first book, is a New York Times bestseller. He also wrote and illustrated a book for middle schoolers called “We Are Family” with journalist and author Andrea Williams earlier this year.
“It’s been amazing to see how students, teachers, and families have responded to I Promise and its message of hope,” James said. “We want the next book to keep encouraging kids all over the world to dream big and not let anything stop them.”
The movie “I Am More Than” is set to come out on April 2, 2024.
