When they were in college, Clark played for the Iowa Hawkeyes and Reese led the LSU Tigers. The two became somewhat of a feud. But when Clark was asked about her friendship with Reese, she said she doesn’t know why people keep making them compete with each other.
Time magazine talked to Clark, who said, “I don’t get that at all.” “By no means are we best friends, but we treat each other with a lot of respect.” Yes, there have been very tough fights. But when did I ever watch over her?

Fans watch whenever Clark and Reese compete, even if they are not enemies. It got so bad that the Sky had to change the location of their two home games against the Fever in 2025. Clark’s words from June are thought to have been a factor in this decision.
Another Fever schedule update: Sky are moving their home games from Wintrust Arena (10k) to the United Center (20k).

June 7 and July 27.
Caitlin Clark last June: "I saw the ticket prices. I guess the only thing is I'm surprised we're not playing at the United Center."
Another change to the Fever schedule: Sky’s home games will now be played at the United Center instead of Wintrust Arena (10k). July 27 and June 7. ๐ ๐๐ถ๐พ๐๐๐พ๐ ๐๐๐ถ๐๐ ๐ ๐ช in June of last year: “I saw how much the tickets cost.” Only thing that makes me wonder is why we aren’t playing at the United Center. In a post on X, Scott Agness of Fieldhouse Files shared.
Because last season’s games between Chicago and Indiana sold out quickly, the Sky are trying to make things easier for their fans by playing at the United Center, which can hold twice as many people as Wintrust Arena.
During the 2025 season, the Fever will play at The Sky on June 7 and July 27.
The Fever have announced a big change for Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese in the 2025 WNBA Sky Showdowns
During the 2024 WNBA season, there were many exciting games. However, the most exciting one had to be between the Indiana Fever and the Chicago Sky because Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark were playing against each other for the first time in the WNBA.
A lot has already been said about how famously rivalry between these two stars is. Along with the fact that Chicago and Indiana were already WNBA foes, these games were always sure to be exciting. And that’s exactly what happened. The four games between the Sky and the Fever (three of which the Fever won) were very exciting and had great plots that made the rivalry stronger.
In 2025, the Sky and Fever will play each other five times. Two of these games will be held in Chicago. In a unique move, the Fever said on February 27 that these two Chicago games have been made even better.
“๐ฏ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐จ

To give you some background, the NBA’s Chicago Bulls and NHL’s Chicago Blackhawks both play at the United Center. The venue can hold 23,500 people, making it the biggest in the NBA.
Wintrust Arena, which has 10,387 seats, is where the Sky play most of their games. That means twice as many fans will be able to see Clark and Reese fight live in 2025 as would have been able to see these two games at Wintrust.
INBOX: The Sky will play both home games (June 7 and July 27th) against the Fever at the United Center.

In addition, the July 26th game has been moved to July 27th. The games will be the first WNBA games played at the United Center.
Annie Costabile, a writer for the Chicago Sun-Times, wrote on X that these games will be the first WNBA games ever held at the United Center. This is very important news.
That will go in Caitlin Clark’s record books.
