Marcus Rashford of Manchester United has been called “a gent” after he allegedly helped Alisha Lehmann of Aston Villa in a nightclub.
In April, the two football players went out on the town in Manchester. Both of them ended up at Chinawhite in the city center.
The Sun says that when Switzerland international Lehmann got to the night spot, he was surrounded by people, so Rashford stepped in.
Rashford had never met Lehmann before, but he knew who she was as a fellow football player. He invited her to a private part of the club away from the crowds.
“Marcus cleared a table and invited her and her friends to join them,” a source at Chinawhite told The Sun about the incident.
“They had never met before, but he knew who Alisha was. They said a few words to each other, and she thanked him. Then, they went on to party with their own groups of friends. She thought he was very nice.
Rashford has had a great season in Erik ten Hag’s first year as manager at Old Trafford. Manchester United still hopes to win both the FA Cup and the League Cup when they play Manchester City in the FA Cup final on June 3.
Lehmann, on the other hand, will be hoping that Carla Ward’s Aston Villa team has a good finish to the season, as they are currently fifth in the Women’s Super League.
The 24-year-old came off the bench against Manchester United on Friday, but her team still lost 3-2 to the league leaders after Millie Turner scored a late goal.
