The NBA’s all-time list of games played got longer. Steph Curry moved up on it.
The Toronto Raptors are coming to the Chase Centre in San Francisco on Sunday night to play the Golden State Warriors.
Now that Steph Curry has played in 916 games, he is tied with Hall of Famer Tom Sanders for 238th place on the NBA’s all-time list of regular season games played. He has played in more games than Clarence Weatherspoon, Al Jefferson, and George Hill combined.
After Sanders, Danny Ferry will be the next player Curry will pass to (917).
Curry had played 33 games and averaged 27.6 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 4.6 assists per game. He also shot 45.6% from the field and 40.8% from three-point range.
He’ll be 36 years old soon, but he’s still the Warriors’ best player and one of the ten best players in the NBA.
The Warriors have been all over the place this season, but Curry has been great for most of it.
Their record in their first 35 games was 17-18, which puts them in tenth place in the Western Conference.
The Warriors are 6-4 in their last ten games. Their most recent win was a 113-109 win over the Detroit Pistons.
In 31 minutes of play, Curry scored 26 points, grabbed six rebounds, gave out four assists, stole one ball and blocked one. He shot 7/19 from the field and 4/12 from three-point range.
Curry was picked seventh in the 2009 NBA Draft. He is now in his 15th season in the league, and all of those years have been with Golden State.
Since 2015, he has led the team to four NBA titles and six Finals trips.
