Tiger Woods teased fans earlier this week when he said he would be playing golf again.

This weekend, Woods will start his round at the Genesis Invitational. He hasn’t played in a real PGA Tour event since July, when he didn’t make the cut at the 150th Open Championship at St. Andrews.

So, what does Tiger think he’ll do this weekend? Well, he made it clear that he wouldn’t enter a competition if he didn’t think he could win, but he was honest about how his game was going.

Tiger said that he was “rusty” in his game. From ESPN, here’s more of what he said:

Woods said, “It’s gotten so much better in the last few months.” “I’m looking forward to competing and playing with these guys. I wouldn’t have put myself out there if I didn’t think I could beat these guys and win the event. That’s how I think. I’m very out of practise, but I’ve been out of practise before and done well.”

“Rusty” is a good word for someone who hasn’t played PGA Tour-level golf in seven months.

At 3:04 p.m. ET, Tiger, Rory McIlroy, and Justin Thomas will all tee off.
