How long are tennis matches?

Tennis is one of my favourite sports to watch because you can’t tell what will happen next. A match that was supposed to end quickly can become an epic, but a match that looks like it’s closely matched can also end quickly. There are bad days for everyone, even the best tennis players. This is why it’s hard to say how long a tennis match lasts. A lot of matches are decided by the best of three sets, with a tie-break in each set if needed. However, men’s grand slam matches go all the way to the best of five sets, and sometimes there is no tie-break in the last set.
