Earlier this week, golf star Paige Spiranac talked about her body in a Q&A on her Instagram account.
People asked Spiranac if it “annoyed” her when people asked her if her breasts were real. The player has a lot of fans on Instagram—nearly 4 million—and has responded to trolls on the site who make fun of what she wears or how she acts. This time, though, she let her fans in.
“They’ve actually gotten a lot bigger and so I can see a lot of people being confused by like when I first started this,” said Spiranac. “I’ve had a chest before, but never like this.” I’ve already told you all the reasons why: I’ve put on weight.I can see why some people would question it and be confused, though, since they’re here one week and there the next, and then they’re here again the following year. What’s going on? I’m not sure. “I don’t know,” she said next.

In September, Spiranac talked about how people always criticize what she wears.
The All-Mountain West Conference player told Sports Illustrated, “I used to be a gymnast before I switched to golf.” “I was so comfortable wearing spandex and very little of it because that’s just what you wear when you’re wearing a leotard and you’re competing.”As a family, we were having some money problems when I started playing golf, so I couldn’t go out and buy a whole new outfit for the sport. So, I wore the workout clothes I had in my closet. That’s how I learned how to play.”
She said, “Why don’t we dress like athletes?” because she thinks players are athletes.
She used the fact that Lucas Glover wore out his clothes during a PGA Tour event as an example of why players should be able to wear what makes them feel good. People who play LIV golf can wear shorts during their games, for example.
“That was always my mindset when I got into golf, and it really rubs people the wrong way which is shocking,” she stated. “They’ll argue a lot about whether to wear shorts or pants, a blade collar or a real collar, and I’ll just be out here in pants and a tank top, and people will ask me, ‘What are you doing?'” I love it, though.But we can see that trend and change are important for the game to grow, and things are going in the right way.
