As more stars join the Saudi Pro League, the race for the Golden Boot will be exciting to watch in 2023/24.
Cristiano Ronaldo has scored nine goals for Al Nassr, which is three more than Al Hilal’s Salem Aldawsari, Malcom, Sadio Mane, and Moussa Dembele. Sadio Mane and Moussa Dembele are also on that number.
Several players have scored five goals, including Abderrazak Hamdallah, who scored the most goals last season, and Aleksandar Mitrovic, who is a star for Al Hilal.
The Sporting News will keep track of the top goals in the 2023–2024 Saudi Pro League season. As with FIFA’s big international events, the number of assists will be the first measure, and the number of minutes played will be the second.

Hamdallah, a forward from Morocco who plays for Al Ittihad, scored 21 of his team’s 60 goals as they won the Saudi Pro League in 2022/23. He had won three Golden Boots in the five seasons before that.
Hamdallah did his damage over the course of 26 games, while Ronaldo joined Al Nassr in the middle of the season and only played in 16 games, but still finished 5th with 14 goals.

Saudis who won the Golden Boot in the Pro League
Since the Saudi Pro League changed its name from the Saudi Premier League in 2007/08, here are the top goals from each season.
Nasser Al-Shamrani, a former Saudi Arabian national team player, won the Golden Boot five times in seven seasons, from 2007 to 2014. He was the most powerful winner in the early years of the league.
Syrian star Omar Al Somah raised the bar when he won three consecutive Golden Boots from 2014 to 2017. Then, in 2018/19, Hamdallah broke the record by scoring 34 goals in the league.
