Reilly Opelka’s father criticises the former teacher of Serena Williams and backs Djokovic.

US tennis fans love Reilly Opelka, and in the past few days, his father, George, has talked about Novak Djokovic, who is number one in the world and has won 24 Grand Slams. Opelka Senior wrote on X that the Serbian champion’s impact can’t be judged by how famous she was, as Serena Williams’s former coach Rennae Stubbs recently pointed out.

“Novak is just wired differently,” George Opelka wrote. His impact is still being made, and it goes beyond popularity contests, record books, and his prize case. If the media wants to pay attention to popularity contests, they should also talk to the locker room.

Stubbs had earlier said, “I think Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are great examples of people who want to win a lot, but Novak is obsessed with it, and you can see it.He wants to increase the numbers because he knows he won’t be as well-known around the world as Roger and Rafa.

Novak Djokovic has the backing of Ons Jabeur

Novak Djokovic came up with the idea for the PTPA. Its goal is to give male and female tennis players on the tour a stronger voice.

Fighting with the ATP to get more attention for both tours and everything that has to do with them. Players who are on the board talk about what the PTPA wants on social media. The goals are different, though. Ons Jabeur, a member of the board, says that one of these is the idea that the top players should not be listened to.

Ons told ESPN, “Before, if I talked, no one would listen to me because I wasn’t in the top 10 and I wasn’t a top player, but now they do. Now they’d care about what I thought. I think it’s wrong to only listen to the best players, but I feel like I need to make a change right now. I have to say what’s wrong and what could be better on behalf of all women.”
