Taylor Swift surpasses the previous record holder, Elvis Presley.

The way Taylor Swift ended 2023 is how she will begin 2024. For the fifth week in a row, her record “1989 (Taylor’s Version)” is No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.

There have been 68 weeks that her records have been at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Swift is now the solo artist who has been at No. 1 for the most time. The record was held by Elvis Presley before.

From 1956 to 2022, ten of his records made it to No. 1. Swift, on the other hand, has had thirteen albums do the same.

Without a Trace was Swift’s first No. 1 record. It came out in 2008 and was number one for 11 weeks.

Swift is now only behind the Beatles, who were number one for 132 weeks.

Since Swift has been in the news for more than ten years, 2023 may have been her best year yet. Pollstar says that her Eras international show made more money than any other tour ever. Nine months after it began in March in the U.S., Mexico, and South America, it had already made more than $1 billion.

The tour was made into a movie, which AMC said made more than $250 million in ticket sales.

Swift was named Time’s Person of the Year at the end of 2023. She was also having a quick love affair with NFL star Travis Kelce.
