There will be no more college softball games this year. The normal season ended this past weekend.
Oklahoma State beat Oklahoma in the first two games of the Bedlam series, giving them their first regular-season win in Norman since 1993. Texas A&M joined the SEC in 2012, and since then, Florida has won nine games against the Aggies. And the best teams in the conference, Texas and Tennessee, kept going by beating their opponents by a wide margin.
After the last game in the Bedlam battle, how high did the Cowgirls go and how low did the Sooners fall? Which teams have moved up in the rankings?
Here is the last ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate top 25 poll of the regular season, along with a list of players to keep an eye on as conference championships start.

To keep an eye on
OK State’s Lexi Kilfoyl is a pitcher.
Kilfoyl has a 21-3 record, with 114 strikeouts and a 1.11 ERA, which is good for third-best in the country. She helped her team win the last two Bedlam games, which was the last series. She helped out in Game 1 by pitching four innings in relief. She struck out two hitters and only gave up two hits. Kilfoyl struck out three hitters in three innings of work in Game 2 to end the series. She had a great last season with the Cowgirls and is now one of 26 finalists for the 2024 USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year award.
IF Karli Spaid from Miami (OH)
Spaid made softball history during her final year. At the end of the regular season, she had 34 home runs, which is tied for the second most in NCAA history for a single season. She has scored 101 goals in her career, which is second most in NCAA history, only behind Jocelyn Alo of Oklahoma (122). The Redhawks have the best offense in the country in terms of home runs (2.96), scoring (9.37), and slugging percentage (.757). Spaid is in charge of this exciting attack. The 26th best collegiate softball player in the USA for 2024 was also named Spaid.
