The U.S. women’s football team is in Frisco to play China.

When the U.S. Women’s National Team plays China on Tuesday night at Toyota Stadium, one of the players will be from the U.S.

Why it’s important: The women’s team is still upset about how badly they did at the World Cup this summer, where they lost to Sweden on penalties and were eliminated in the round of 16.

▶ The game in Frisco is the second of two tests that the US and China play in four days. The first one happened in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday night.

A big picture: Megan Rapinoe and other well-known players on the team have stopped playing for their country.

Though, Jaedyn Shaw, a young player who hopes to lead the U.S. team to victory, is from Frisco. She has only played twice for her country, but she already has a goal—a smart toe-poke in October against Colombia.

The band says, “It will be very special to play in my hometown.” Shaw told the Dallas Morning News, “I’m really excited; I have a lot of family there.”

•She says that many people have already asked her for tickets to the game.

Prices start at $35 if you want to go.
