Tiger Woods is upbeat after how he played on the second day of the Hero World Challenge.

Tiger Woods had a better day on Friday at the Hero World Challenge. He shot a 70, which was two shots under par. The last few holes were hard for him.

Woods had his first round on Thursday at the Albany course in the Bahamas. He got a 75. He made two birdies right away to start his second round. At the turn, he was 4 strokes under par, but that was the end of the round. Woods got off to a bad start when he made a bogey on hole 13. Before hitting a birdie on hole 17, a par-3, he made two more bogeys.

“It was better than yesterday for sure,” Woods said. “I want to do it more than I did yesterday.” I made some mistakes, but overall the round was better. Better parts of the round were the beginning and middle.Still, I missed a few putts near the end that I thought would have kept the round going, but they got stuck. There’s no doubt that it’s better than yesterday.

Woods is in 15th place right now, one shot ahead of the leader. He is now 10 shots behind Scottie Scheffler and Jordan Spieth, who are tied for first place.

The last time Scheffler played in a stroke play event was at the Tour Championship. Then he made a shot on the 18th hole, which put him 10 under. That meant he had to settle for a 66. Soon after, Spieth had a chance to go ahead, but his birdie putt on the last hole was just off. He came in with a 67 and lost.

After coming in second place to Viktor Hovland the last two years, Scheffler wants to win this year. Hovland and Keegan Bradley are both in 16th place, two strokes behind the leader. There are 20 players on the field, but only three people are sitting behind them.

It’s Woods’s first game since April, when he pulled out of the Masters. He is taking a “beta test” this week to see what he needs to work on in order to play 72 holes over four days.

People asked him what gave him the most hope in the first 36 holes of his comeback.

“I think being able to play and compete again,” Woods stated. “I did not do it.” That’s true.

“I told you that my ankle doesn’t hurt, which it does.” My hip is fine, but other things are giving me pain. I didn’t feel the same way when I went for a walk as when I played baseball early in the year. I think I wanted to get rid of those memories so I could make new ones.

Woods said that this week will help him figure out what he needs to work on at the gym and how to get ready for the events next year.

“I can walk, play, and do all those other things at home, but it’s different when you’re at game speed,” he stated. “Game speed is not the same as home speed.” You can work on something at home if you want to. Things went as well as they could have.We tried to get used to it by playing a lot of money games at home, but it’s not the same. I don’t feel, think, or race through things the same way I do at home. You can drop a ball at home. It’s going to cost you. When you use pen and paper together, it’s a little different.
