Travis Kelce, a tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, talked about what he and his girlfriend Taylor Swift did to celebrate the New Year.
Swift went to Arrowhead Stadium on New Year’s Eve to see the Chiefs play their home game against the Cincinnati Bengals. She watched Kansas City beat Cincinnati 25–17 to win the AFC West for the eighth year in a row. It was Swift’s ninth game of the season.
On the most recent episode of the “New Heights” show, Kelce said, “It was cool to have all the friends and family.” “I think I had over 50 to 55 people come in for this one – a good New Year’s celebration.”

The Kansas City Star said that Kelce and Swift went to The American Restaurant in Kansas City for part of the evening. Patrick Mahomes, quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, and his wife Brittany were also there.
Kelce said that his mother, Donna, gave him a special gift, but he couldn’t say what it was.
Kelce told his brother Jason, “I got to trade gifts with Mama Kelce.” I’m not allowed to tell you what I got because some gifts are still being made for you. It’s really cool. This gift will make you happy.

Swift and Kelce also spent Christmas together. Swift went to the Chiefs’ loss to the Raiders with her parents, Scott and Andrea, and her brother Austin, who was dressed as Santa Claus and gave Kelce a gift “straight out of the bag.”
“A VHS of my favorite football movie of all time,” Kelce said Austin gave him.
