Dennis Rodman is a five-time NBA champion and the daughter of Olympic gold medallist soccer player Trinity Rodman. In the Call Her Daddy podcast, Trinity Rodman said that her father has been missing for a lot of her life.

“He’s not a dad.” “Maybe by blood, but not by anything else,” she told host Alex Cooper. “It hurts to hear his voice.”

Reporter has tried to get in touch with Dennis Rodman to get his opinion.

According to SpotRac, Trinity’s father made more than $27 million during his NBA career. However, Trinity said that she had to live in a car at one point.

“For a while, we lived in our Ford Expedition,” she said. “We tried to live with him, but he has parties all the time and brings in random b*tches.” He loves the attention. It makes him happy.

“Before the divorce from Trinity’s mother Michelle Moyer in 2012, my dad was actually giving us money,” she said. “He would actually give my mom money and let us live our lives for a while, but after the divorce, it was like, ‘F**k you guys.'”

She also said, “I think he’s a very selfish person.” “I believe everything has been about him.”

Trinity has played 45 times for the US Women’s National Team (USWNT) and has scored 10 goals and set up 9 others. She scored three goals and set up one more for the gold-winning team at the Paris Olympics this year. Her goal in extra time against Japan in the semifinals was the game-winner.

She was 18 years old when the Washington Spirit picked her in the draft, making her the youngest player ever picked in the NWSL. Dennis showed up to the Spirit’s playoff game against the North Carolina Courage without telling anyone. He hadn’t talked to his daughter in months.

“When he showed up to my game, I was really mad,” the Spirit forward said. “I broke down in tears on the field.” It’s making me cry while I’m trying to play soccer.

The Spirit beat the other team 1-0 and won the NWSL title, but Trinity was mad at her dad.

“I was really mad. “You took this happy moment from me,” I said. “You messed with my head again,” she told him. “I am walking over there toward Dennis so angry that I am like, ‘F**k you.'” When I get there, he grabs my head and I start crying in his arms like it’s a father-daughter moment.

The hug that followed went viral, and Trinity wrote on Instagram that she hoped their relationship would get better.

“After that, there was no more sound.” “I haven’t seen him since… this year,” she told Cooper on Call Her Daddy. “That’s stupid of me to think that would start a new spark.” That was always me. When he came back, I’d say, “Okay, here it is again.” We are going to begin something. He’s going to be around. Boom, months and months and months (without talking to him). This time, it had been years.

“I think that’s when I gave up on ever getting him back.”

In 1999, Dennis met Michelle Moyer, who is Trinity’s mother. Dennis “DJ” Jr., Trinity’s brother, was born in 2001, and Trinity came a year later. They got married in 2003, but Moyer asked for a divorce in 2004. After trying to get back together for a while, they finalized their split in 2012.

The seven-time NBA rebounding king didn’t meet his own father until he was in his late 30s. He has said in the past that he wants to be a better parent.

He told ESPN in 2019 that it was hard for him to break out of that loop. “No one has ever done that for me.”
