The golf course of former President Donald Trump in Washington, D.C. is now on the schedule for LIV Golf’s second season.
Monday, LIV Golf released the full schedule for its second, bigger season. There will be 14 events in seven different countries.
Trump National Golf Club in Washington, D.C., will be one of three of the former president’s courses to host the rebel series in 2023. The other two, in Bedminster and Miami, were both on LIV’s first circuit.
Last year, the Team Championship was held at Trump’s Doral Golf Club in Miami. This year, however, that honour will not go to the 45th President.
Last year’s team championship, in which four teams of the same number of players competed in twosomes for a $50 million prize pot, was held at a golf resort in Miami. In 2023, however, the event will be in Saudi Arabia.
LIV Golf has confirmed that the showpiece will be held at the Royal Greens Golf & Country Club in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, from November 3 to 5.
Trump was at both events held at his courses in 2022. He was seen waving to the crowds and almost treating the tournament like his own political rally.

His National Golf Club near the nation’s capital has now joined the group. From May 26-28, the seventh event will be held there.
LIV Golf is backed by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, and their players will compete for $405 million over the course of 14 tournaments. This is $150 million more than they won in eight tournaments last year.
The tour’s full schedule for 2023 includes a return to Centurion Club outside London from July 7 to 9, where its first event took place last June, and Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Illinois from September 22 to 24. But Portland, Oregon, and Boston will not be on the route again.
LIV will also have an event in Florida. From March 31 to April 2, LIV will be at Orange County National in Orlando. This is just one week before The Masters, the first major of the year, where rebels will be allowed to play.
LIV Golf had already said that their 2023 schedule will start on February 24-26 at the El Camaleon Golf Club in Playa Del Carmen, Mexico. This is a former PGA Tour venue.
It also said that tournaments will be held at The Gallery Golf Club in Tucson, Arizona (March 17–19), The Grange Golf Club in Australia (April 21–23), The Serapong at Sentosa Golf Club in Singapore (April 28–30), Cedar Ridge Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma (May 12–14), Real Club Valderrama in Spain (June 30–July 2), and The Greenbrier in West Virginia (August 4–6).
The event in Spain will take place at the prestigious Valderrama, which has hosted the Ryder Cup in 1997, two World Golf Championships (1999 and 2000), the Volvo Masters (1988–2009), and the Andalucia Masters in recent years.
“Last year helped build the future of golf on amazing courses that have hosted some of the best tournaments in the world. For the official start of the LIV Golf league, which will bring the sport into a new era, the schedule is full of great places to play and championship sites.
Since it started, LIV Golf has caused a lot of trouble, especially with golfers like Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy.
And LIV defector Patrick Reed threw a tee at McIlroy, putting him back in the middle of the civil war. This is now known as “tee-gate.”
