How to Watch, Full Groups, and Key Players for the UEFA Euro 2024

Euro 2024 is about to start. On Friday, hosts Germany will play Scotland in the first game, which will take place at the Allianz Arena in Munich. The winner will win Europe’s top soccer prize.

The 2024 UEFA European Championship will last for four weeks, from June 14 to July 14. The final will be held at the Olympiastadion in Berlin. Ten cities, such as Frankfurt, Leipzig, Dortmund, and Hamburg, will hold games.

Italy is the defending winner after beating England in Euro 2020 (which was actually played in 2021 because of the pandemic). Twenty-four European countries made it to the game, which the UEFA hopes will be watched live by five billion people around the world.

For the UEFA European Championship 2024, here is everything you need to know:

Where to Watch in the U.S.

There will be a number of ways to watch UEFA Euro 2024 games in the United States. The English shows will be on the Fox Sports network, which is made up of FS1 and FOX. FuboTV will also stream all 51 games, with five games that can only be seen on that service.

The games will be shown in Spanish on TelevisaUnivision networks, such as Univision, TUDN, and the streaming service ViX.

How many teams qualified?

There will be 24 teams in the event, split into six groups of four. The top two teams in each group and the four best third-place teams will move on to the knockout stages, which have three rounds and end with the final.

Who are the favorites?

France and England are the favourites to win Euro 2024. Both teams have good squads and have been playing very well lately. The host country, Germany, is also a strong contender. Spain and Portugal are two other teams to keep an eye on. Each has a mix of experienced pros and up-and-coming stars.

Groups and schedules

This is what each group looks like:

  • Germany, Scotland, Hungary, and Switzerland are in Group A.
  • Spain, Croatia, Italy, and Albania are in Group B.
  • England, Denmark, Slovenia, and Serbia make up Group C.
  • Poland, the Netherlands, Austria, and France are in Group D.
  • Belgium, Slovakia, Romania, and Ukraine are in Group E.
  • Turkey, Georgia, Portugal, and the Czech Republic are in Group F.

From June 14 to June 26, games will be played in the group stage. On June 29, the knockout rounds will begin, and the final will be held on July 14.

Portuguese player Cristiano Ronaldo: Ronaldo is still an important player for Portugal at age 39, and he wants to win another world title.

From Spain, Yamine Yamal: The young Spanish star is known for how well he plays, and he is expected to make a big difference in Spain’s game.

What happened in the last Euro?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Euro 2020 had to be held in 2021 instead of 2020. In an exciting final at Wembley Stadium, Italy beat England. After extra time, the score was tied at 1-1. Italy won 3-2 on penalties. With this win, Italy won their second European Championship and their first since 1968. England had never lost a big tournament final since winning the World Cup in 1966. This was their first loss in a Euro final.
