Every year since 2016, the SheBelieves Cup has been held in the United States. The event was created to raise awareness of women’s soccer.
The United States national team and three invited countries play in it. Japan, Brazil, and Canada, the same teams that played in the eighth edition, will be invited again.
This time, the rules and schedule were changed because the first W Gold Cup was earlier in the year (the USWNT beat Brazil to win). Even though the players will be the same, there will only be four matches instead of the normal six.
On April 6, the semi-finals will begin, followed by a game for third place and then the final. For the next event, there will be three double-headers again.

The United States has won six of the eight SheBelieves titles that have been given out so far. The only teams to beat the home team are England (2019) and France (2017).
Kilgore’s team will start their tournament against Japan. They have played Japan 39 times and have won 30, lost 8, and tied once.
The Stars and Stripes have won all 12 of their previous games against each other. In addition, they will have Alex Morgan, the player who has scored the most goals for the US against the Japanese national team (12 goals and 3 assists in 15 games).
