Getting ready for Euro 2024 is almost over. The event will be held in Germany next year.
To make it the same as Euro 2020, there will be 24 teams competing for the prize.
Italy is the current winner. They beat England on penalties in a crazy final at Wembley in July 2021.
In 2024, many of the favorites will already be in the running to defend their title.

Which teams have made it to Euro 2024?
Germany, as hosts, is the only team that immediately makes it to Euro 2024. They will hope that playing at home will help them win their fourth title. Since the country became one again, this is the first time it has held a European Championship.
There are 10 groups that are trying to get into Euro 2024. The top two teams from each group instantly make it to the final.
In addition, three teams will make it through the play-offs.
England beat Italy on October 17 and qualified with a goal from Jude Bellingham, but Gareth Southgate said right away that the fight was only half-won.
He said, “We need to make sure we are one of the top seeds next month.” “Our next two games need to be wins.” We’d like to be in charge of that.We have to keep building. This team has more to give. Based on the seeds, this was the hardest qualifying group.
“Some people said we didn’t beat the best teams enough. We have done really well, though.”
Belgium was the first team to make it to the next round. They won five of their first six games.
France, Azerbaijan, and Estonia are also in that group, along with Austria, which is led by Ralf Rangnick.
They are joined by France, who came in second place at the World Cup and won all six of their first games, making sure they will win Group B. Greece, the Netherlands, the Republic of Ireland, and Gibraltar are also in this group.
Spain, Portugal, Turkey, and Scotland will all be in the draw for the real tournament. Portugal was the winner in 2016.
Spain has won the European Championship three times, most recently in 2008 and 2012.
Thanks to Norway’s 1-0 loss to Spain, Scotland found out they had qualified without even having to kick a ball, and with two games to spare. They have now made it to two straight European Championships.
Another easy win for Turkey was a 4-0 win over Latvia to get into the competition. They were hyped up as dark horses for the last World Cup, but they didn’t live up to the hype. They have done well in Europe, though, making an unexpected run all the way to the semi-finals in 2008.
