Tiger Woods, 48, will be back at the Masters after all

Things went wrong when he played in the Masters last year.

When TIGER WOODS comes back, it will be at the Masters next month.
The 15-time major winner hasn’t played in a tournament since the Genesis Invitational in February.

He came back, but only for a short time. He dropped out of the tournament because he was sick after only six holes of the second round.

The 48-year-old is making faster progress in his comeback from surgery on his ankle last year. He will play at Augusta from April 8–14.

The official website for the event had a list of players who were going to play. Woods was on that list.

Eldest American has won the race five times.

That was 22 years ago, in 2019, when he wore the Green Jacket for the last time.

In 2022, Woods came in 47th at Augusta, just 14 months after being in a car accident that almost killed him.

He walked around the course with a limp because his injuries were so bad that he hadn’t fully healed yet.

He had to have more surgery because of it, but Woods is now “not concerned at all” about walking.

He also had a bad luck year because he pulled out in the third round because of back pain.
This year, Woods has promised to play in at least one event every month.

He has also said in the past that he wouldn’t fight if he didn’t think he had a real chance to win.
A lot of people are betting on him, though. Scottie Scheffler is the favorite, and Rory McIlroy and John Rahm are also in the running.
